Construction Connection: AGC January 2015 Safe Site Award

Boyd Martin Construction is the January AGC Safe Site Award winner for building the new two-level 42,612-square-foot Gaudin Porsche dealership, on 5.97 acres, at 6800 Redwood Street in Las Vegas.  The 30-foot-tall structural streel-framed amd masonry builfing features a radial wall showroom with a glass, EIFS and mettal paneling exterior.  The project has taken place without disrupting the neighboring business, Gaudin Ford, despite seeing 50 people onsite during the peak of building activity.  The job has recorded 1,891 man-hours worked to date with no lost-time accidents.  Ryan Low is the project manager, with Jim Harris as superintendent.  The dealership broke ground in September; construction is expected to finish in July.  Gaudin Porsche is part of the Gaudin Automotive family of dealerships serving Las Vgeas and the western U.S. for over 92 years.
